Removals Shepherds Bush, W12
Your Local Shepherds Bush Removal Company
K1 Removals is based a short drive away in Chiswick, so Shepherds Bush is very much on our patch. We move families, flat-sharers and businesses across W12, from the converted Victorian terraces off the Askew Road and Goldhawk Road to the mansion blocks around Shepherd’s Bush Green and the tower blocks on the Edward Woods and White City estates. Whether you’re moving across the road, across London or across Europe, you get a careful, friendly team, a clear written quote and a move that’s planned properly from the first call.
- Free pre-move survey: We’ll look round in person or by video call, check access and parking, and give you a clear written quote with no hidden extras.
- Packing and unpacking: Full or part packing with quality boxes and wrapping, so fragile and valuable items arrive exactly as they left.
- Furniture dismantling and reassembly: Beds, wardrobes and large tables taken apart, moved and put back together at your new place.
- Flats, lifts and loading bays: Many Shepherds Bush homes are upper-floor conversions with tight stairs, or flats in blocks with lifts and concierge desks. We check access at the survey and book any lift or loading slot with your building.
- Small moves: Just a few items, a single room or a studio flat? Our small-moves service in Shepherds Bush is a quicker, lower-cost option for smaller moves.
- Secure storage: Short or long-term storage if your completion dates don’t line up or you need space during a renovation.
- UK and European moves: Moving further afield? We handle long-distance UK moves and removals to Europe, including the paperwork for moves abroad.
- Pianos and antiques: Specialist handling, padding and equipment for pianos, antiques and artwork.

Why Shepherds Bush Chooses K1
We know Shepherds Bush’s streets, blocks and bottlenecks. Most streets here sit in controlled parking zones, so we’ll help you arrange a parking suspension with Hammersmith & Fulham Council. On QPR match days at Loftus Road, gig nights at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire and busy Westfield weekends we plan routes around the Westway, the West Cross Route and the Uxbridge Road, and for blocks with lifts we’ll book the slot with your building in advance. That local knowledge is what keeps your move on schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you provide?
House and flat removals, small moves, packing, storage, office moves, piano removals, student moves, and long-distance and European moves.
What do you need from me before the move?
Just your moving date, both addresses and a rough idea of what’s going. If you’re packing yourself, have boxes sealed and labelled by the time we arrive, or let us do the packing for you.
Do I need a parking suspension for the van in Shepherds Bush?
Usually, yes, as most streets in W12 are in controlled parking zones. We’ll check your street and help you arrange a suspension with Hammersmith & Fulham Council so the van can park right outside.
How much notice do you need?
As much as you can give, ideally as soon as your solicitor has an expected completion date. Fridays and month-ends book up fast, but we’ll always try to help with short-notice moves.
What happens if there's a delay on moving day?
Completion days often run late and we plan for it. We’ll keep you updated throughout and talk everything through with you in advance, so there are no surprises.
Do you offer storage near Shepherds Bush?
Yes. We offer secure short and long-term storage, ideal if you’re between homes or your completion dates don’t line up.
Do you do small moves in Shepherds Bush?
Yes. For smaller moves, single items or studio flats, our small-moves service is a quicker, lower-cost option. Tell us what’s going and we’ll suggest the right size van and crew.
What access do you require for your removal?
Somewhere for the van to park as close to your door as possible, and clear access inside. We’ll flag anything tricky, like stairs, lifts or narrow hallways, at the survey.
Where can I see your reviews?
Our latest Google reviews are shown on this page, and you can read more by searching for K1 Removals on Google.
Is there anything you won't move?
We can’t carry hazardous materials such as paint, fuel or gas bottles, or very large safes. If you’re unsure about an item, just ask.
