How Student Moving Works

Let us know the time, date, how much there is to be moved, what you are moving, along with the pickup point and the destination. If required, our student moving service can include a quick video survey to evaluate accessibility and the number of movers required, depending on the weight and everything else listed above. We will then give you an upfront quote when you book – discounted for students.

In the weeks and days prior to your move, we offer advice on the best way to prepare for your move so nothing is forgotten and we run on time. Much of this advice can be found in our guides lower down the page. We can also supply you with recyclable packaging materials, if requested as part of the service.

With everything now in place, we will arrive on time and follow your instructions, just as we do for our domestic removal services. If requested, we can also dismantle and pack everything for you, before safely loading and transporting everything.

On arrival, we can assist with navigating the narrow student halls or busy London streets to get your possessions in place. We can also unpack, reassemble and place the items where ever you choose, as an additional service.

Our team operates from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday, subject to availability.

Do you offer a furniture disassembly service?

Yes, we offer an optional disassembly service. However, we cannot disassemble certain items like flat-pack furniture, wardrobes, and some tables due to their design and assembly methods. Please note, we do not provide reassembly services.

How can I cancel or reschedule my move?

What does your packing service entail?

Our optional packing service includes wrapping and packing your items on moving day. The cost is low for small moves and the most competitive for larger ones. We use our materials for smaller items and ensure larger pieces are properly wrapped for transit. If you opt to pack yourself, please ensure all belongings are securely packed in double-walled boxes.

When will I get the details of my moving day?

After finalising your move details, we’ll send an itemised quote for approval. We’ll also confirm the collection time closer to the moving day and send a reminder the evening before.

Can I request a specific time for my move?

Yes, you can request a preferred collection time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Is storage available for my items?

Certainly! We offer flexible storage solutions. Inform us about your storage needs during the booking process, and we can include this in your plan. Access your stored items by logging into your account and arranging a delivery date.

Do I need to be present during the move?

Yes, either you or a designated person should be at both addresses to facilitate the move.
